Bass-baritone Alex Wedensky has been singing “with various degrees of success” since he was three. He started taking classical vocal lessons little over 4 years ago. Currently he studies with Opera Kelowna’s Alexandra Babbel.

Alex has sung various solo repertoire at all previous Vernon Proms seasons. He is one of the founders and a dedicated supporter of the festival (often to his own detriment, jokes Alex).

He is a vocal soloist with Early Music Okanagan. He has also sung with Opera Kelowna – as a Customs Officer and chorus member in La Boheme, and with Okanagan Symphony Chorus.
