Angela Sommer has owned and operated Angelkeys Music Studio in Vernon since 2020 and in Williams Lake since 1995. Growing up and taking her music training in Germany she performed and travelled throughout Europe. She is a member of the BC Registered Music Teachers, the National Association of Teachers of singing and is affiliated with the Royal Conservatory of Music and Conservatory Canada. She holds a Diploma in Operations Management from BCIT.
Angelkeys Music Studio offers in person and online lessons and coaching sessions in voice, piano and music theory and offers sessions for small vocal groups and bands as well as performance coaching. The goal of the studio has always been to encourage people to enjoy music for a lifetime and to build life skills. Angela has produced and directed numerous plays and musicals and her students participate and compete in local and provincial performances and music festivals in musical theatre, classical, opera and pop and jazz categories and many have gone on to successful careers in music, acting and performing.
Angela Sommer is an active member of Chamber of Commerce and Vernon Women in Business and has volunteered with many different community groups.
