Carlene Wiebe

Carlene Wiebe is a graduate of the University of Victoria's music program where she attained a Bachelor of Music with Distinction in Voice Performance. Carlene has performed with Pacific Opera Chorus, Vancouver Opera Chorus, Opera Breve Vancouver, Kamloops Symphony Orchestra, Thompson Valley Orchestra, and in the Butchart Gardens Summer Song and Dance Revue. Recently, Carlene had the privilege of performing in the BC Living Arts production, September Songs. She has been a voice teacher for over 15 years. In that time she has also been a choral conductor, voice adjudicator and held singing master class around the lower mainland. Carlene lives in Kamloops and currently teaches voice at the Kamloops Symphony Music School. She is very happy performing with fellow KSO musicians, with the Chamber Musicians of Kamloops and as a soloist with local choirs. She also loves being married, for almost 25 years, to Shane and being a mom to Jorja and Jace. She can be spotted most mornings running and hiking the local hills with her big dog “Sugar”.
